At 0654 hours, Station 60 was dispatched to Beech Ave for a garage fire. 6001 and 6002 arrived on location and confirmed a fully involved detached garage with propane tanks inside:

Conditions upon arrival

Quint 60 responded with 8 personnel on board (including a safety officer and junior firefighter). It arrived on scene under a minute and went into service with a 2 1/2 hand line and 1 3/4 hand line and quickly extinguished the fire.

Crews in service

Engine 6022 picked up the hydrant that Quint 60 layed 4 inch large diameter hose from and supplied water to the scene. Squad 60 also responded and assisted with clean up.

This was Quint 60's first working fire since going into service on the Tuesday before. It was it's 3rd call for service over all.
